How To Start A Zero-Waste Year
Updated: Apr 22
Did you make any New Year's resolutions at the start of the year?
One of the most popular New Year traditions around the world is making a New Year's resolution. This is the perfect time to reprioritize life and set goals for the months to come.
So, now that the first quarter of the year is over, what resolutions have you achieved yet?
Are you keeping track of your list?
Early this year, I decided to fill my resolution list with easy, good-for-me-and-the-planet goals.
Being environmentally friendly simply means having a lifestyle that are good not just for yourself, but also for the environment. It’s all about taking small steps towards making our planet a better place for generations to come.
The first step to appreciating and protecting Mother Nature is to adopt some eco-friendly habits.
I made a list below that shows two things:
1. Habits that I intend to stop
2. Habits that are environmentally-friendly, and are definitely worth adding into daily routines
So the items on the left column are habits that you can stop doing as these are not good for you and the environment, whereas the items on the right column are the new habits that you can embrace for the rest of the year.
Now is the best time to embrace a zero-waste change. Start these new habits and soon you’ll notice you are beginning to think and act in a more eco-friendly manner without even realizing it.
Please share this among your family and friends!
